Navigating the Space between Brilliance and Madness: A Reader and Roadmap of bipolar worlds

Digital Archives:
Teaser Image:

This little book emerged from the stories of the many amazing members of The Icarus Project. We assembled the beautiful and jagged pieces of our collective experience, the lessons and the scars, to create an atlas of alternative maps to the particular breed of madness that gets called bipolar, and the ways people are making it through.

Re-BELLY-on Week

Teaser Image:

These are all the pictures I could get uploaded for the time being.

To explain:
Myself and other members of one of our feminist clubs on campus, FORGE (Fighting for Our Rights and Gender Equality), as well as cast members of our production of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" decided to put together an art project in celebration of NEDA Week. We know that many women are plagued with body image issues as well as life-threatening eating disorders. In conjunction with NEDA Week, we launched the "Re-BELLY-on" project.

Street Medics Guide: First Aid & Trauma Information

I'm adding this because I just tried to help a 9 year old boy called Michael who had been mowed down by a car in a hit and run in front of my house. I realised I didn't know what to do while waiting for an ambulance, and if what I did was ok. This has also happened at protests when people have been hurt. I'm adding resources on "street medic" information - please read, so that you can be equiped to help someone when they need it most.
