Ladyfest Durham NC 2012 took place on March 25th 2012
Come join us in a collaborative musical effort by some very, very talented folks. "Lady" Fest NC is a celebration of all gender identities, honoring bands that feature female artists. This event is musically focused, but we look forward to making this a more artistically collaborative and informative event in the future. Come hang!

EAR PWR – Amidst the goth vibes, freaky drum pattern, and weird vocal melody, you know that EAR PWR are making a conscious effort to create serious-sounding music. EAR PWR’s sound here feels indebted to the Brooklyn outfit Glasser, with the juxtaposition of tribal drum programming against celestial analog synths (Booze’s are homemade) and an ethereal vocalist out front. – Pitchfork
To All My Friends – Astronauts, dirty nails and other more or less important things are exactly what swedish indiefolkpopduo To All My Friends sing about. Accompanied by instruments such as banjo, autoharp, accordion, melodica and guitar they mold beautiful tunes in the storytelling tradition of american folk music and turn it into something of their own, right here and right now.
Girlcrush are a pop-punk band from Brooklyn, NY filled with queers who sing about crushes, unrequited love, and other fun topics. They are comprised of Jackie O. (The Homewreckers), Al (The Fun, Princess Tiny and the Meats), and Jayne (GLTR PNCH).
