Ladyfest Leicester 2007

"Ladyfest Leicester’s core objective is to promote and celebrate the creativity of women while raising money for good causes. Most music and arts festivals are still male dominated; Ladyfest Leicester will help restore the balance and provide a safe and comfortable environment for artists to perform and exhibit their work. Ladyfest Leicester will be held over a weekend in October with most of the events happening under one roof and all happening simultaneously; and we will be showcasing music, literature, art and workshops over the weekend. We have a DIY ethos and and aim to build a collective community. Anybody is welcome to get involved...gay or straight, male or female and any ethnicity!
