"Ladyfest Melbourne 2009 is a music and arts festival designed to showcase the creative talents of Melbourne ladies along with interstate and international special guests. 2009's festival will have a particular focus on representing independent lesbian and queer female bands and artists who are making and performing original works.

Sheba Feminist Press was established in 1980 -- one of a handful
of small independent publishers born of the UK women's movement
