quarterly magazine published from 1989 to 2009 in Spanish and Basque by Emakunde - Instituto Vasco de la Mujer (Basque Women's Institute). It covered articles about women’s situation in social, political and cultural life. Issues 64/2006 - 77/2009 can get downloaded for free. Since issue #78/2010 Emakunde gets published as ezine, but still a smaller paper version gets published that can get downloaded as pdf-file; emphasis on equality and women's rights, feminist news, women's organisations and networking, culture, etc.

Astra was founded in 1919 by the Swedish Women's Federation in Finland to encourage women's activities and serve as a connecting link of Swedish women in Finland, but also to promote women's issues beyond language barriers and national borders. CoWeb - City of Women goes Web! (E-Zine)

CoWeb gets produced once a year during the City of Women festival. Every day of the festival, the events are documented online; in various languages, critical thoughts are formed about the events, discussions with festival guests take place, and the audience is asked about their opinions. Coweb represents the idea of the creation of DIY do-it-yourself web content and presents an opposition to mass media while at the same time serving as a form of critique of their treatment of culture.

The Women's Institute for Freedom of the Press (WIFP) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt research, education, and publishing organization. Our organization was founded in 1972, by Dr. Donna Allen, to increase communication among women and reach the public with our experience, perspectives, and opinions. Women's contributions to society must be heard and be taken into account if democracy is to function and the world's political decisions are to be viable.

FEL: Feministisch en Links

FEL is a grassroots feminist action and education/discussion group based in the Belgian city Gent. In 2009 FEL grew out of FAB (Feministische ActieBende), a feminist collective that doesn't exist anymore. FEL means Feministisch En Links: feminist and left.

FEL is a group of enthusiastic feminists who work on several themes. We take action (for example Take Back The Night), write editorial letters, give workshops and lectures and we have a reading group.
