Ladyfest Auckland 2008

"LADYFEST AKL is a music and arts festival happening in Auckland, New Zealand on February 22nd-24th 2008.

Here's the deal so far:

Fri 22nd Feb 8pm @ Cross Street Studios, Cross St: "Glitches in Fantasyland" a theatrical presentation of dance, aerialism and live film featuring Eve Gordon, Sarah Houbolt (Brisbane), Alexa Wilson & Tahi Mapp-Borren, $10

Fri 22nd Feb 10pm @ the Winchester (used to be Pinnacle Club), St Benedicts St: Bands! Blood & Laughter (AK), Newtown (WGT), Punchbowl (WGT), $10

Sat 23rd Feb 11am-4.30pm @ Cross Street Studios, Cross St: Cherry Bomb Comix in association w/ Ladyfest Auckland presents - Zine Fair & Workshops including zine making, guitar, Djing, and discussions on DIY social spaces & "race" in alternative scenes, Free

Sat 23rd Feb 9pm @ the Winchester, St Benedicts St: DJs + Bands! Oojah Takes out the Trash (AK), Stood Up, (AK) the Wrongdoings (WGT), Mean Street (AK), Moron Says What?!? (AK), $10

Sun 24th Feb 2pm @ Te Karanga Gallery, Karangahape Rd (upstairs next to Mana Moko): Film Screening - queer & riot grrrl films including "Don't Need You: the herstory of riot grrrl" directed by Kerri Koch, Free
