off_pride is the creative alternative to the official europride program: For all alterna-lesbians, non-designer gays, genderqueer free spirits and all of you who break the mold in some way or other. off_pride questions dominant gender and sexual norms. It offers a refreshingly uncanny platform for you to explore queer/trans*-lifestyles beyond consumption, conformity and commercialization.

Reclaim The Night - East Midlands

Time : 6:00pm onwards.

Reclaim The Night marches give women a voice and a chance to reclaim the streets at night on a safe and empowering event. We aim to put the issue of our safety on the agenda for this night and every day.

This is going to be a hugely inspirational event being held in Nottingham but we want it to represent the entire of the East Midlands. This will be a rally through the centre of Nottingham and then there will be speakers and acts (TBC) afterwards.

Left Turn is a national network of activists engaged in exposing and fighting the consequences of global capitalism and imperialism. Rooted in a variety of social movements, we are anti-capitalists, radical feminists, anti-racists, queer and trans- liberationists, and anti-imperialists working to build resistance and alternatives to corporate power and empire.

WIDE, in the current context of its work on the neoliberal agenda, will
address the issue of microcredit as an alternative for women´s
empowerment during a one-day conference organized on the 15th of May in
Brussels.
The conference will aim at providing a comprehensive approach to microcredit: its specificities and impacts in the South, its implementation in the EU and its challenges especially in the context of the current financial and economic crisis. It will be an opportunity to gather different views and share experiences around microcredit practices.
