Ladyfest Los Angeles 2009

"Free Music, art, and film festival with skill share workshops and community discussions open to all folks of all ages. Huge thanks to everyone who came out and participated. It was a huge success for so many reasons and more that the feeling is still overwhelming. Six people organized Lady Fest L.A. 2009. We are youth of color, two of us were in high school. If we can do it, so can you! Lady Fest just like any fest, is what you make it. Our goals and ideas were choices we came up with together as a collective. Will we ever do this again? Maybe, or maybe you and your friends can make an even bigger, brighter Lady Fest L.A. 2010.
