WAM! It Yourself takes place from 13 - 24 March 2013 in various cities in the US and Canada (Austin, Boston, Camden NJ, Washington DC, Los Angeles, NYC, Ottawa, Vancouver) and also encompasses two online events.

Do you care about creating gender justice in media? Want to connect with folks in your area who share your concerns, and join an international community of activists, journalists, academics, artists and media-makers, all taking action at the same time? Then you want WAM! It Yourself, a decentralized version of our annual Women, Action & the Media (WAM!) conference. This year, instead of everyone who cares about gender justice in media gathering in one place for WAM!, WAM! is happening exactly where you are.

Vi er i gang med å arrangere Ladyfest 2013.
2013 er jubileumsår for kvinnelig stemmerett, noe vi tenker å feire med brask og bram. I tillegg tar Ladyfest Oslo utgangspunkt i den internasjonale kvinnedagen, hvor vi i uka rundt 8. mars setter fokus på feminisme, likestilling og kultur. Vil du være med å jobbe med Ladyfest eller vil arrangere noe under Ladyfestplakaten så kom.

Musician and visual artist, Lucy Duncombe, works and performs alongside Kenneth Wilson, and collaboratively with other improvisers/musicians. Liene Rozīte performs with Ash Reid, in the conceptual improvisation duo Muris, and the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra. Julia Scott is a musician and artist who plays in bands that include Palms and Fem Bitch Nation.
