Wir suchen mit „offenen Ausschreibungen” nach Information, der Dokumentation von Kunstwerken und nach Kunstwerken von Frauen sowie feministischen KünstlerInnen in Audio/Text/visuellen Formaten, die in der LA Wien Ausgabe und weiteren berücksichtigt werden.

All My Independent Women 2012 (London, 27 Sept - 14 Dec 2012)

Interested in understanding and supporting feminist modes of production and circulation of artists’ practices that deal with issues around gender, this project marks the coming together of three important archives: the Women’s Art Library/Make, the Open Music Archive, and the AMIW Video Lounge.

The programme combines a series of talks, workshops, roundtable discussions, and viewings hosted at Goldsmiths University of London over a three months period, and two music commissions to be premiered on the 16 November at Cafe OTO.

Es ist wieder Zeit für rampenfiber!

rampenfiber ist ein 4-tägiges queer-feministisches Musikfestival, das seit 2006 alle drei Jahre in Wien stattfindet. Organisator_in des Festivals ist der Trägerverein nylon. Verein zur Förderung und Publikation feministischer Diskurse, der seit 2002 auch das feministische Musikmagazin fiber. werkstoff für feminismus und popkultur herausgibt. Seit Herbst letzten Jahres ist nun ein rund 10-köpfiges Team mit den Planungen beschäftigt, die auch 2012 wieder ein Festival mit zahlreichen Konzerten, Auflegereien, Workshops und Diskussionen bereit halten werden.

FrauenSommerUni 2012 (Vienna, 19. - 22. September 2012)

Die FrauenSommerUni, die von 19. bis 22. September in Wien stattfindet, steht 2012 unter dem Motto „Feminismen leben“. 21 Workshops und Vorträge bieten die Möglichkeit, sich mit feministischen Themenstellungen auseinanderzusetzen, zu diskutieren und selbst aktiv zu werden. Das detaillierte Programm ist ab sofort online einsehbar.

Eröffnet wird die FrauenSommerUni von den Organisatorinnen am 19. September um 17 Uhr in der Alten Kapelle am Campus der Universität Wien (Spitalgasse 2).
